Question 1

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Troy, Alabama and serve Troy plus the surrounding cities and communities. If you're nearby and not sure whether we cover you, give us a call at (334) 403-5301 and we'll let you know right away.

Question 2

Do you really offer 24/7 emergency service?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Emergency repairs are available 24/7, with after-hours emergency service starting at 6 PM. If you have a burst pipe, major leak, or no water at all, call (334) 403-5301 any time — day or night.

Question 3

What should I do if a pipe bursts?

Accepted Answer

First, shut off your main water valve to stop the flow — it's usually near where the water line enters your home or at the meter. Then move belongings away from the water and call us at (334) 403-5301. Don't try to tape or clamp a burst line yourself; a proper repair keeps it from failing again.

Question 4

Do you work on mobile homes?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — mobile home plumbing is one of our specialties. We handle under-home pipe repairs, re-pipes and line replacement, water heater service, and freeze protection. Mobile homes use different pipe materials and layouts than site-built houses, and we know them well. Visit our mobile home plumbing page for details.

Question 5

Can you clear a clogged drain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer professional drain clearing and clog removal for residential homes — sinks, tubs, toilets, and main lines. Commercial drain clearing is coming soon. If a plunger or store-bought drain cleaner hasn't fixed it, call us before the clog turns into a backup.

Question 6

Do you repair and install water lines?

Accepted Answer

Yes — water line installs and repairs are core services. Whether it's a leaking line, low water pressure, or a brand-new line run to your home, we can take care of it.

Question 7

Do you handle septic plumbing repairs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we repair the plumbing side of septic systems — the lines running to and from the tank and related piping. If you're seeing slow drains throughout the house or wet spots in the yard, call and describe what you're seeing and we'll tell you if it's something we handle.

Question 8

How do I know if I have a hidden water leak?

Accepted Answer

Common signs include a water bill that suddenly jumps, the sound of running water when everything is off, warm or damp spots on floors, and musty smells. A simple check: turn off every faucet and appliance, then watch your water meter — if it's still moving, you likely have a leak. Call us and we'll track it down.

Question 9

Is it safe to use chemical drain cleaners?

Accepted Answer

We don't recommend them. Chemical cleaners can damage older pipes, rarely clear the whole clog, and make the line hazardous to work on afterward. A professional clearing removes the blockage completely and safely — and we can tell you why it happened so it doesn't come back.

Question 10

How much does a plumbing repair cost?

Accepted Answer

Every job is different, so we don't quote flat prices sight unseen. Call (334) 403-5301, describe what's going on, and we'll talk through it — you'll know what to expect before any work starts.

Question 11

How can I prevent frozen pipes in winter?

Accepted Answer

Before a freeze: disconnect garden hoses, insulate exposed pipes (especially under mobile homes), and let faucets drip on the coldest nights. If a pipe does freeze, don't use an open flame to thaw it — call us and we'll handle it safely.

Question 12

How do I schedule a non-emergency repair?

Accepted Answer

Just call (334) 403-5301 and we'll set up a time that works for you. For anything urgent — active leaks, no water, sewage backup — call right away instead, since emergency service is available 24/7 after 6 PM.
